Why “Wee Stories”?
The blog is so named because I have some Scots blood in me, and “wee” means “small”. Each blog entry is a short story about our family’s adventures. Wee is also our family’s surname. So it’s apt.
How long have you been blogging?
Since 1997, when K gave me a subdomain to play with. I hand-coded everything. It was a PITA but also tremendously fun. Unfortunately, I no longer have entries dating back to that time, so my archives start from 2003.
I’m sure I’ve seen you blog on another domain before.
You would be right. I used to blog at riceandsoup.com.
How come you don’t write more about Zoe’s health issues?
Because there is more to life than that. Zoe certainly thinks so; why should I or anyone else think otherwise?
How did you pick your kids’ names?
Alison was the only name K and I could agree on. Zoe was named by Alison, who named her for the Sesame Street Character. Alison means “noble”, while Zoe means “life”.
What do you work as?
I work as a public relations officer for a healthcare organisation. Before this, I also worked as an advertising copywriter and journalist.
I currently alternate between my iPhone, a Canon G12 and a Canon 7D.
What do you use to maintain this site?
Wee Stories is proudly made with a Mac, hosted by Glowhost and powered by WordPress.
