Shape Run race pack.

Here it is – my first ever race pack! I collected it this afternoon at Marina Square. Haven’t had the chance to look at what’s in the pack other than the singlet, which I ordered in Large. It’s not tight or anything, but I would have preferred a looser fit and should have gone with Extra Large. I asked K if he’s going to buy my race number in 4D. If you do, let me know if you strike! Tokyo in pictures.

We’re back from Tokyo and in the tradition of the Wee family, we’ve plunged right back into the drama that characterises our lives. Yesterday, we had to trundle Bryan to the vet because he was looking poorly and whimpering whenever he moved. His hips turned out fine and there was nothing to indicate he was sick except for his behaviour, so he got a shot of anti-inflammatory medicine and was sent home with a $200 bill. Alison was also sent home from school, not with a bill, but with a fever that took a turn for the worse in the late evening. After she projectile vomited all over my bathroom, I decided that she should go straight to KKH A&E, …

Phuket round-up.

I didn’t take very many photos during the holiday because I was too busy pigging out, running after Zoe and generally doing things that make wielding a camera difficult, but here is our holiday in a nutshell. A plane rant.

We arrived home this afternoon from a great four days in Phuket, and all of us are tanned and tired. Some of us more tired than others owing to food poisoning, general fatigue and in the case of Zoe, a pre-existing cold that was worsened by an early morning flight on Saturday. Cold air does her respiratory system no good. Anyway, before I do a recap of our holiday, I wanted to write this rant about a couple of parents we encountered on the plane.
