We’re all taking turns to fall ill here at Weeville. All four of us have been to see our friendly neighbourhood GP. First it was K, who had a raging throat infection that’s only just cleared up. Next, it was my turn. I’m on my second course of antibiotics and I’m still not fully recovered. Then Alison’s ears blocked up completely, necessitating a trip to the GP, who could not do anything because he doesn’t do ear flushing, so she had to go to an ENT who suctioned all the wax out and gave her her hearing back. Now it’s Zoe’s turn. She caught K’s and my bug and is hopped up on meds.
Passersby are always in awe of the tiny four-year old zipping along on two wheels.
Being sick is no fun at all. Let’s hope we can get back to being healthy and active soon.
