We found THE house.

I’m happy that after months of searching, we have finally found a house. It’s a 5-bed, 5-bath intermediate terrace in the Tanjong Katong vicinity, and it meets all our requirements – it has enough rooms and generous common areas for all of us, it is on a good-sized piece of freehold land, it faces south-west, it is in eastern Singapore, and it is unblocked with a lovely little playground and green lung right in front of it. We are all pleased with this house, and are now waiting for all the paperwork to go through.
If things go smoothly, we should get the keys by the end of June, after which there are renovations to be done and we should be able to move in by September or so.
Yeah, and I just realised that in order to move INTO the house, we have to move OUT OF our current home. Oh me, oh my.
