First 2010 finish: Lizzie Kate Time for God.
Stitched on 32 count Relic linen from Picture this Plus with Weeks Dye Works thread. Started 31 Dec 2009, finished 7 Feb 2010.
Finally, a finish to kick off the stitching year with! I’ve been pegging away at this one on and off; sometimes I would work on it furiously till late at night and other times, it sat in its Q-snap and languished. But at least it’s done!
The only change I made to the design was to replace the word “difficult” with “sad” because to my mind, “difficult” and “hard” are the same thing. I like how it turned out. It’s going to get framed and then presented as a gift to my dear mother-in-law. I’m one of the lucky women to have a wonderful mother-in-law, and by all accounts she likes me too. LOL. I’m sure she will appreciate this because she has several Christian-themed stitched pieces (done by her friends) hanging in her home.
