Flipping out over Green Flips.
My mom and sisters very generously gifted me with gift certificates from 123Stitch last Christmas, and I’m now in the strange but nice position of having more credit with that store than I know what to do with! Isn’t it funny how you always have nothing that you need or want, when you have gift certificates to spend? I was wondering for a while what to buy, and now I have an answer that will put a little dent in my GC balance at 123. It’s Lizzie Kate’s latest series, the Green Flips, which I think are super-cute and will be stitching all on one piece of fabric as shown in the model photo. So cute, right? I can’t stand it.
If you’re wondering what I’ve been up to craft-wise, I’m very close to finishing my very first project for 2010. It’s also a design by Lizzie Kate (I’m on an LK kick), and I hope to be able to share my finish with you soon. Stay tuned!

This is very cool! It is also so apt for current sentiments. Great reminder of our collective need to do our part for the Earth even while stitching!
But not all six charts are out yet right?
The first three parts are out, with the remaining three to come out by mid-year.
I got them! Went on spree today (the quick kind which inevitably meant I spent more than I should have) – not sure if celebrating last day at work or stress cos it was also the last day of the asia pac conference I organised!
