Christmas ornaments sent and received.
I’m posting this from my bedroom in my mother’s house in JB! We arrived yesterday evening, had a scrumptious dinner in honour of my birthday at Pekin Restaurant which made me very very happy because we had salted-egg crab as one of the dishes, and then we came back and crashed in exhaustion. We took the girls on board the MV Doulos yesterday morning and they had a good time touring the ship. I have photos but can only upload them when we get back to Singapore.
In the meantime, here are two Christmas ornaments to share. The first one was made by Edda in Iceland for me, and the second one was made by me for Linda in Singapore.

I stitched Midsummer Night Designs' freebie called Snowman Quaker for Linda, and also finished it as a felt-backed ornament. I had some problems with making my ornie, because I stupidly did not check which way was up for the snowman and ended up making a mistake with the orientation of my ribbon. But it turned out OK in the end.
We will be making pineapple tarts, and the rest of our relatives are making their way here today, so a big dinner is planned at Sizzling Stone Grill this evening. I hope you and yours are having a very merry run-up to Christmas!
