I don’t know how other couples do it, but after so many years together buying gifts becomes very difficult. Every year, I rack my brain trying to think of something for K for his birthday and Christmas, and every year I invariably settle on something technology-related. This year was no different . He’d been waxing lyrical about the Canon S90 for some time, so it wasn’t too tough to decide to get him that for Christmas. He was totally not expecting it and is quite happy with his new gadget, toting it wherever he goes.
If it’s hard for me to buy gifts for him, it’s a no-brainer for him buying gifts for me. I usually make items on my wishlist known to him so he doesn’t have to struggle to find something, but this year he totally disregarded my wishlist and went to that good old robin’s-egg blue fallback for my birthday gift. I love my new trinket, but I’m a rather chor lor (rough) person so I managed to scuff one side of the key the very first time I wore it. Oh well. It’s still gorgeous!

I think Tiff may be able to polish it for you? I remember when we went there to get our wedding bands, the sales lady did say they offered that service. I think for wedding bands at least, there’s one free service, but thereafter it’s chargeable for a small fee.
Heh! I passed by T&Co today and thought that if anyone was going to be shopping there for a Christmas present, it would be K! =) Glad I was right. =)
I know the feeling, after over 40 years of marriage my husband always says he doesn’t want anything so it’s very difficult!!! Love the fabulous key you got.
